Bujumbura International Montessori School (BIMS) is a private bilingual educational center dedicated to providing quality education for children of all nationalities residing in Bujumbura. It was founded by Mr. and Mrs. TANZER in 2006. It started very modestly with 62 pre-school children enrolled in Bujumbura International Montessori Kindergarten. Today BIMS consists of the Crèche, Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary school sections with more than six hundred children.
